Care notes for every plant

Sunlight

Full sun, 6 hours or more.

Through the seasons

Flowers all summer and through the monsoon. Shedding leaves in winter is normal, so water very little until new growth appears in March.

Comfortable at 10–45°C

Care steps

  1. Give it a large pot with sandy, well-drained soil.
  2. Feed a high-phosphorus fertiliser in spring for more flowers.
  3. Cuttings root easily: let the cut end dry for a week, then plant it.
