Care notes for every plant

Sunlight

Full sun or bright light. 4 to 6 hours of sun keeps the leaves firm and plump.

Through the seasons

Handles 45°C heat. Keep it out of monsoon downpours and away from cold, wet soil in winter, which cause rot.

Comfortable at 8–45°C

Care steps

  1. Use sandy, quick-draining soil in a terracotta pot.
  2. Harvest the outer leaves first, cutting close to the base.
  3. Separate the pups (baby plants) and pot them up.
