Care notes for every plant

Sunlight

Bright light with 3 to 4 hours of direct sun keeps the colours rich. Indoors, give it your sunniest window.

Through the seasons

Loves summer and the monsoon. It drops leaves when nights fall below 12°C, so bring balcony crotons indoors in December and January.

Comfortable at 15–38°C

Care steps

  1. Keep the soil lightly moist. Drooping leaves mean it needs water.
  2. Mist the leaves in dry weather to keep spider mites away.
  3. The milky sap irritates skin and is toxic to pets.
